garyc660r - I have a Raptor schematic in my pics that uses the tether to replace the key. I don't have the motor yet but everything checks out with a voltmeter.

 

alright so let me get this straight. I know what your talking about with the clip. I pulled them apart yesterday and got the starter to crank but no spark. When disconnected you have two separate wires. The wire that came from the key and ended at the clip and the wire that began at the clip and goes to wherever(i have no clue). Which one do i jump? your saying to take a wire and connect the left side of one of the clips and attach it to the right side of that same cllip? i think i got ya. What should i use to make it stay in. I dont wanna cut anything because next weekend ill have my key and i wanna clip em back together. thnks

 

o...and i would jsut pick the lock for the key instead of going through all this but i let my friend borrow my lock picking set on monday. LOL, what are the odds. I usually always have my lock pics in my travel bag.
