I have seen both in action and boy do those things climb I myself own a warrior and I havent complained yet but going either way you wont be dissapointed they both have theyr pros. and cons. but IMO either one is a good choice.

Yeah, they are both good quads, but I still think the 300EX is for the younger and lighter crowd. As for the Warrior being front heavy, yeah it is a little, but I still don't have a problem pulling wheelies. Getting the front end up isn't a problem. I mostly just modded around the weaknesses.

Wheelie's are extemely easy on a Warrior. If you cant do one or have truble doing a wheelie on a Warrior than you might to young or to small for one. I dont have a problem at all. Took me a couple of tries to get it down. But i have always had a four wheeler since i was young. Im not a pro...but i am experienced.

I think that the warrior is faster but the 300ex has better frame geometry and suspension. If tight woods i'd say the 300 would win. woods with lots of straightaways and the warrior would win. I ride with warriors all day and in the woods I ride its not close. but on the road when they hit sixth it's like bye bye.

I've never ridden a 300ex. I'd say that the warrior is definitely better.
It's $200 more than the 300ex, but it's a 6-speed and 50cc more.
I've climbed so pretty crazy hills w/the warrior.

Come on now guys, you know the answer to this one!!! The 300 EX has great handling and all, but the Warrior would rip it a new a$$hole!!! The 300EX isn't even a 300, it's actually well over 10cc's less than that, maybe more, I forget. If you plan to drive like Ms. Daisy go ahead and get the 300. I personally prefer 'Stay Tuned's' version of 'Driving Over Ms. Daisy' with the Warrior, lol.

The Warrior was made when....1985...and thay haven't done anything to the motor or suspension since...so of course the 300ex is gonna have better handling because it is updated....they haven't changed a thing on the warrior because it wasn't needed....it was still the best selling quad ever even though it didn't have some things that the newer ones have...
If you like speed and don't mind actually having to lean into turns and turn the handlebars, go with a Warrior.
If you want something with not a lot of speed and a nice suspension that you have to do no work...go with the 300ex..
I would go with the Warrior, because I don't mind doing some work to make it handle good...the extra 70cc's make up for that..
