For real wet riding and deep water crossings I would use an air box but a little mud and splashin would be alright especially if you used a water repellent outerwear.

Got my sixsixT adapter coming in the mail.I figure I will keep my airbox on hand in case I do any wet condition riding.

What are the advantages and disadvantages between the k&n and foam style filters?

Foam filters dust and small particals better but sand can work it's way thru the foam.
A K&N is better for sand and is easier to clean and oil.

I did go, but couldnt race....it was only for cars that were gonna race on sunday...sorta like time trials night. So I want to go next week before I buy my JTM extension. As soon as I go I will let you know how it goes....Ive got my time slips in the truck so I can compare right away...Im expecting maybe a.1-.2 decrease in time and 2-3mph more...with the extension Im sure I will launch a lot harder and will drop my times even more...man, speed is addictive.
