Stainless Steel pipe questions?
#1
I recently just put a new stainless steel sparks pipe on. I was curious do you guys have problems with the whole pipe turning color? Mine turned a dark brown color all the way back to the silencer, and the begining part of the head pipe is starting to turn blue.
I know on chromed banshee pipes we just run them slightly rich and it wont make the chrome turn color that much. Is stainless steel the same way, and I am just extremely lean? Or do 4-strokes run hotter and the pipes will always turn colors.

So there is nothing that you can do to keep it from turning color? That sucks I paid more just to get the stainless and now it looks like crap. I figured it would be a little brown right at the engine but the whole thing is turd brown now....
