Default Extremely Tight, Will this work?

I've tried many different methods of removing my drain plug on my blaster. I've tried vise grips, pipe wrench, easy out and nothing works. What i was thinking about doing is cutting out a square around the head of the drain plug. Im talking about the large round brass part with the gasket right below it. If i cut around there, it would just come right out with like vise grips, wouldnt it? Anyone tried this? At at my last attempt. Thanks!!

I would try to chizzle it loose with a hammer and big a$$ flathead screwdriver or chizzle first. You must hit it at the far outside edge almost at a tangeant angle to the drain plug circle. After the first couple hits a notch will form, and it will become easier to hit it closer to the tangeant line (probably will take some hard hits too, so don't hesitate to give em' to it). If this technique fails you can always continue to grind the square as planned without it being affected. This trick has never failed to remove stripped screws for me. Don't be impatient though, it will take a few hits to form a notch first, and be sure to buy a new drain plug after removing it (check for corrosion or fouling on threads in engine too). Remember not to put it on so tight in the future, they don't require much torque to be on tight.
