Raptor vs Predator

hahahahahahaha lmfao Holly *** that is the funniest thing I have ever read. My 10 year old daughter is still laughing. I have a friend with a ron wood stage 3 kit on his ds and My banshee with JUST fmf sst pipes smoked it run after run. hahahaha. andrew did you read what you wrote omg. that is good a ds 650 is like a dump truck it can have 500hp and it sill weighs more than 3 banshees I love it. By todays standards the banshee is still one of the fastest quads out and with just an exhaust it will smoke the new 4 jokes. hahahah that is good!!!

The Banshee is still a unique quad & with a mods such as headwork etc can still be very fast though. Seems like you just have to get into the motor on them now to keep up with these new 4 strokes.

Ever since riding a DS a Banshee has never impressed me. Sure there are fast Banshees at the dunes. However they have extensive mods. A prime example was a SLIGHTLY modded Banshee (jettted, pipped) I raced. I won so he asked if we could race farther so he could get into his 6th gear. I agreed. Outcome was I just won by a bigger distance. The Banshee is a fine machine for what it is with lots of potential. However I stand by what I said. I see slightly modded Banshees lose to DS's & Raptors, Predators & now 450's time after time. If you want to beat the new 4 strokes you have to get INTO the Banshee motor. In the 2 stroke dirt drag classes 400L's run right with the mighty Banshee. It's not like they can't be beat.

As it stands right now the fastest 350cc stock bore, stock stroke Banshees are still faster in 300ft drags than any 4 strokes outhere using an OEM based engine.By OEM based engine i mean an ATV engine, no sled engine, car engine, crotch rocket engine, jet engine etc...So it doesnt matter how modded, how big or whatever fuel they are using the newer 4 strokes like you call them are still slower than a small 350cc two stroke engine. You dont beleive me, no problem just hit the two URLs i am posting www.planetsand.com or www.atvdra.com and you go ask the pros.

now 2 strokes owning the track??? since when... how many 250r's do you see in the pros anymore...? all you see is 450's!!!
now the dunes on the other hand... not much can touch a built shee in sand.

true the new 450 weighs in at 46 lbs less than a banshee. to date I think it is the only liquid cooled 4 stroke that is lighter than a shee. I see stock motor banshees walking ds 650's, raptors, and especially the heavy predator with the spungy tranny all the time. there is no need to get into the motor of a shee to beat built 4 strokes. with just pipes and reeds my shee will walk my friends rappy with head work, a cam, fmf header and silencer, gearing, and whatever else he has and didn't tell me. My motor at the time of this race had never been opened. Dont forget we are only working with 350cc compared to almost double on a 660 raptor or ds 650 or 500 predator and still walking them. I dont know where you guys see these races where you claim ds 650's ,rappys, and predators are beating banshees with work done. Ive rarely seen one of those tanks beat a banshee let alone a banshee with some work, it just dosn't happen and I go to the drags almost every weekend. once in a while a heavy weight will win in 300 ft but not very often and I dont think Iv ever seen one win the class its always a banshee or 250 r once in a while a D&D preped raptor will take the bolt on class but not very often and thats just the bolt on class the super mod class, and stock class is always won by tbn performance on their banshees. Tbn's stock banshee last season never lost a single race let alone a class.
