I hope your joking. "Get into the motor", cool heads, and thats all the internal motor work that needs to be done...Not really getting into the motor. Your DS can't compete in a drag with a banshee price/performance. !NO! factory 4-stroke can yet. Stock DS beating piped banshees is a joke unless on dirt due to traction, so you cant brag about that. On a +-Note, I love the DS, it is bulletproof, fast, and can be redlined forever.

As for an opinion on the Pred vs Raptor- To all you loyal Pred owners, Rappys\DS are faster price/performance. Its all in the displacement. Nobody cares about stock vs. stock. Or atleast I don't. Preds are impressive for thier dis. though.

Dumb shiz?????????????? Look at you biatch... When you actually race a raptor, you lost.. What happened to all the raptors you kill??? O, i forgot.. They couldn't post in response... And lets talk about stock. Stock piston. What kinda carb you got? What kinda pipe you got? And if you can kill a raptor in sand, I'm sure you can post a video of it happening.. Why not run another forum member? You're in cali and go to the dunes most of these guys go to, right?

 

The only thing I can say is a head work to me is getting in the motor. Pipes, carb(s), tires are bolt-on. I guess the Banshees sold in the midwest must be slower than all others. Or maybe midwest Banshee owners can't shift quickly. I lose to extremely modded Banshees at the dunes & at the dirt drag track. However any Banshee without more mods than pipes comes up short. I guess only members on this board got fast banshees ?

 

Hey hozed, It was on a 300 ft sand track, I had razrs and he had holeshot mx tires. we tried starting from dead stop, then rolling start. then at about 40 mph, every race I totally dominated, he never spent one second in front of me and when he was winding out 5th I had just shifted into 6th. I was pulliing away when he was wound out. we also ride together a lot and when we are running up the road I get a long ways in front of him also he weighs about 40 lbs less than me. Just to let you know. I will have him sign up for this site cause he's not afraid to admit it. also how can you say banshees dont hook up. anything hooks up if you know how to ride it. if you sit all the way back on the seat of a shee and rev it and dump the clutch it will flip over backwards. Id say thats hooking up. all you have to do is get you body weight right on the seat and you can hook up as much or as little as you want. cant do that with a big 4 stroke they hook up all the time. Id say banshees have the advantage. You can gat all kinds of traction on take off then move forward and slide the back end around in the corners. not as easy on one of those heavy tippy 4 jokes. try again!!

 

I don't know anything about dragging, (other than the 4 strokes are comming along quicker than most people like to admit) but on the track, either mx or xc, I don't see what you are talking about that you can't slide the rear end...I'll race you on the mx or xc track with you shee anyday....I'll even go back to stock, and still win....our handling is awesome, and it goes around corners better than anything on the market.

Ok hahahaha lmfao. You gunna come to my track or do I have to go to yours. Bud, You dont know how I race or even who I am... for all you know you couldn't hold a candle to me on my nephews yamaha breeze. dont invite a race unless you plan on coming to my track in upstate NY. and if you do Id be glad to challenge you to a $100 bill race for the hell of it. All Im saying is you cant go saying that banshees dont hook up when all you have to do is know how much hook up you want and position your body appropriatly. It seems to me that banshee have the advantage in this department because you can choose how much hook up you want and use it... a rappy hooks up like hell, even when you want to slide the rear end its much harder and simply can't be done at higher speeds. No way can you slid the rear end around on a doggy 4 stroke in the corners at anything over 30 mph they just do accelerate fast enough to do that.

 

yes fourstrokes are coming along quite nicely but they are still too heavy. and they are gettin too electric. who wants a toy that someone can shut down with the push of a button then they come over and arrest your ***. And to get the same power of a two stroke outa your four you have to have twice the cc's. by the way my grandma is faster then yours.
