Default Rev. override question

I have an 04 Grizzly and I am going to override the reverse rev limiter. I would like to wire a switch in so that it functions normal until I flip the switch. I was thinking about unplugging the wire at the bullet connector and installing a T in there and plugging it back together. I would then connect a wire to the T, Run it to the switch and run one from the switch to ground. That way when the switch is off everything functions normal and when it is on it will bypass the limiter. Is that an ok way to do it ???
