Default Blaster Light question

Would like to put two little driving or fog lights on instead of the stock light. All the lights I have come across are 55watts. x2. Would they work but just be dim. Or would they cause damage my quads electrical. I have seen a previuos post were they put on some lights from walmart, I looked and could not find the 20w x 2 lights. any help, thanks

Default Blaster Light question

Had alot of problems with this as well for my blaster when I had it. The stator does not have enough power to for 2-55watt lights. The max is probably 65 watts at the most. Here's a tip, well at least what I did. If you Blaster still has the stock light on it, mod it to your benifit. The stock light is like a 45watt bulb, thats it with 2 filements in it, one for high and one for low. If you take a stock halogen bulb from a car, it too has a dual filament, both being 55watts which is plenty due to them being halogen. Myself I found a small 55watt halogen and modded it into the original housing. I hardly ever used high and low beam, and being it was a halogen it was super bright compared to stock, it worked out really well. Check ebay if you don't have the original light housing, they have them on there all the time.
