Default raptor probs

Hey, my friend has an 02 raptor with a Full Alba Race Pipe, Jetted, K&N w/ outerwear, Durablue +4 Axle, Flipped front tires, Renthal Bars, and holeshots..
Sometimes, when he goes to start it, it just sits there and makes a like buzzing noise and sometimes catches like its gonna start, but it won't....but sometimes it will start...and if it does do the buzzing noise...we have to bump start it...

I have heard the one-way bearings in the starter going bad on 02 raptors...is this the problem? Or is it something else?

Thanks Guys,
Warrior68Man

It might be the starter relay or a bad connection.

You probaly need to search L&A Designs One Way. They make the best aftermarket fix for this problem.

www.raptortranny.com can help with the install.

you also may want to check the positive terminal on the battery... they have a tendency to vibrate loose which may cause what ur describing.
