Default wolverine trouble

my wolverine has been developing a dead spot when you first hit the throttle once it gets hot. Any ideas what it could be? If its already jetted and then i put the torque stuffer in should it be rejetted because of the smaller exausht port? It runs perfectly fine for about a half hour then it starts to do it. Sounds like too much fuel or somthing going in. thanks for your help.

I would suggest varifying your jetting. If you change the air flow of the machine, either by the intake or the exhaust, you effectively change how it breathes. Breathing directly affects the jetting. More air flow means you need more fuel. Less air flow means you need less fuel.

Now if I read this right, you have not installed the torque stuffer yet? If you have not installed, it sounds to me like your machine is jetted a bit lean. IE, you are needing more fuel.

Installing the torque stuffer will help with low end and will richen your jetting just a little, But there is no way to tell if it adds enough until you do it. Every machine reacts differently to a modification.

Hope this helps.

MICKEY DUNLAP TOLD ME NOT TO USE THE TORQUE STUFFER SINCE THE STOCK HEAD PIPE IS SUCH A GOOD MATCH TO THE MACHINE ALREADY. THE TORQUE STUFFER IS MORE FOR THE WARRIOR WICH HAS A DIFFERENT HEAD PIPE. I DECIDED TO LEAVE THE STOCK PIPE ON AND AM SAVING FOR A GOOD QUALITY SLIP ON. JUST MY $0.02 SO ANY FURTHER COMMENTS WOULD BE GREAT SO WE CAN IRON THIS OUT.

Actually it has been doing this ever since i put the torque stuffer in. So it must have effected the jetting.

I would like to say though that wheelies are a lot easier with the torque stuffer so im guessing its working.

thanks

One thing that may cause this a bit is the air fileter. How often do you clean it. Another thing is a carberater problem. Or there could just be some dirt in the gas lines
