Stock Speeds

CrashGordon (good Name, BTW) I have a Garmin GPS III and have used it to measure my Blaster, Warrior and Banshee. It will read to 1/10th MPH and is accurate to 1/10 MPH as well. That is according to manufacturers specs. GPS are exceptionally accurate devices for measuring speed and distance. Unlike radar guns which require the "tuning fork" calibration or automobile speedometers (my vehicles are all 2% to 4% off) which aren't the least bit reliable the GPS is always calibrated. It actually receives the timing pulses from the GPS satellites in LEO orbit to "self-calibrate" itself. The satellites have on-board cesium beam time standards; cesium is THE reference for time worldwide. Anyhow..... Umm.... I'll stop now.

In regards to the previous message, A Warrior does not run 65MPH stock. A warrior is a fourstroke single cylinder 2 valve system. A 400ex has a much more hi-tech motor. As much as I like the warrior this information is inaccurate. Perhaps the Warrior at the drag strip was not stock, which is very well possible and the only way a warrior can achieve such speed.

yeah theres no way that warrior went 65 mph stock,my 300ex can beat a stock warrior and the only performance hop-ups i have is a supertrapp system, uni air filter and no air box lid and i really dont think my 300 does 65+

A banshee can go 200mph
A blaster goes around 120 with one flat tire.
A raptor can easily push 250 or a little more
The DS goes around 250
A warrior can without a doubt push 300 mph
A 300 ex does 300mph..(thats what the 300 stands for)
and I can run 1.5 minute miles without shoes
