Seems like most of the topics here are devoted to some aspect of racing. Yamaha makes utility quads, Suzuki and Kawi make sport quads, but how come it SEEMS like the Yamaha guys talk about racing and are almost rabid about who is faster at the drags, and the Kawi/Honda/Suzuki guys are more apt to talk about utility quads and trail/woods riding? Maybe has something to do with Yamaha's legacy with the Banshee? Does Yamaha sell more sport or util quads?

I'm sure people will go off on me like "what the hell is wrong with racing??!?!!". Nothing. Just making an observation. Race your asses off.

 

hey man hear lately with the release of some as bad as the yfz450 which is race ready from the showroom floor you'd be talking about racing too. I like either but only from yamaha not biased just yamaha makes a dang good machine.

recap, yamaha makes 3 bad@$$ sport quads and imo 2 worth while buying utility

 

How many sport machines do the other manufactuers make? yamaha has: Blaster, Warrior, Raptor 350, Raptor, Yfz450, and Banshee. That and utility riders arent quite as fanaticals so they arent as likely to get on the internet and discuss things all the time. They usually just get on to talk about tires and winches or what machine to buy.

well, yamaha does make some great racing atvs. . .

 

just tell him to ride one there won't need to be any explaining they are just ungodly, just a awesome machine.
