I wouldnt even think about trading my 400ex for a crackandfail let alone the YFZ ....
That about sums up what you know about them then, doesn't it. Go ahead and be one of the masses

I know plenty about the dales to make my choice. If it was the right machine for me I would probably own five of them so I could keep one running. While they are good on the track are slower than **** in the sand. SO for what I do - its not an option.

I'll be one of the masses anyday to have a quality machine that I feel confident traveling 500+ miles with for the weekend.

I have video of my friend who goes to Glamis almost every weekend with his Glamis model. He hangs with and beats YFZ's consistantly, 450r's almost always, and splits wins with the "stock" but piped Banshees.

I've had less trouble with mine than you have probably had with your YFZ - no battery issues, and my parts are quality...

You seem to know what non-owners generally say about them.

I don't really care what they think, to be honest. I know better.

I never had any battery issues with my YFZ before i removed it??? The only electrical work I have done is preventative maintenance.

I have never seen a cannondale anywhere close to a YFZ at the dunes - and I play on the hill a lot. Watch the videos on dune review if you want to see the differences between cannondales and YFZ's in the sand.

Thomez - how many hours do you have on your machine? how often do you ride your trouble free machine?? I thought you were quite a few states away from your dale??

I ride mine at least once a week and beat the living crap out of it ...

Does it really matter? I'm not buying a YFZ, you aren't buying a Cannondale. Problem solved.

I'm happy with my purchase, would do it again without hesitation. You would do the same. After that its wasted typing.

They are likely to be very close with equal mods. Probably depends on the track.

Cdale has a better suspension. Geometry is good on both, cdale can be lighter with the alum frame. Good rider will make the biggest difference.

Thomez, the cdales are great. If I had the extra dough, there was a blaze in the paper with less than 50 hours for 3900. Some of the updates had already been done too. Darn raptor costs too much money to keep fast.
