ALWAYS needs the choke
#1
Latley my quad always seems to want the choke on to start. Even on hot days and after I have been riding, If I let it sit for 10 minutes or so it wont start until I turn on the choke. When I start it up with the choke on it will stall if I turn it off right away.
Anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it?
Thanks

I tried turing up the idle screw but it didnt seem to effect the starting at all. I can understand why it would need to be choked after sitting for a day or two but not only 10 minutes. . . If I don't use the choke I can kick and kick and kick and it dosn't do nothing. But as soon as I use the choke it starts first kick. . .

i dont think idle will do anything for start up cuz the bikes not running, mine does the same exact thing and i am pretty sure its just cuz its running lean but im not sure

The choke adds more gas correct? This must mean that the bike will not start because it dosn't have enough gas or. . is lean. Maybe I will try to screw IN the mixture screw and see if that helps.
Thanks for the advice guys
