if it's that slick, then u definately had the advantange because of the weight ratio between the 2. You definately got more traction that he did.

I can barely bring my front end up even in dry dirt. I have to be on grass, or something else w/ traction to do wheelies... otherwise the tires just spin. (in second or third.)

To me, that looks like a bone stock YFZ, cuz around my local area, a Sparks Pipe and Jetted, cam mod and air box mod was keeping up with me on my 690 and that is no BS. Next time I go I will get some video, hopefully there will be allot of them coming Memorial day. Them YFZ's got some power and for just being piped and jetted was beating every Raptor that was piped and jetted on a 500ft drag at Pismo Beach California. I am in no way putting down the Raptor cuz I have two of them beast at home. But those YFZ's are crazy fast for just putting $700.00 in mods just from stock.

I hope when my Raptor is done it will smoke them 690's and DS720's. At least thats what I plan to do anyways. If I dont, my next motor will definitely do the job!!

Nice video. I'll agree with you, I got a simliar setup compared to yours minus the big bore, and I'll give a good spankin to piped 450's.
Farmstud, I've got the same setup as you, but probably a different pipe. Are you using dj or mikunis? What jetting at what elevation are you running? I am having a helluva time getting my jetting right on these carbs.

I'm running 145/148, but that's with 35mm FCR's. I love them so far. I got sick of the stockers running out of fuel every 10 seconds.

Before I was running 182.5/187.5 I think, that was with DJ needles, but that was with a fairly choked up slip-on, this is at sea level.

My YFZ comes out of the hole a LOT faster than that.
