I hope when my Raptor is done it will smoke them 690's and DS720's. At least thats what I plan to do anyways. If I dont, my next motor will definitely do the job!!

Congrats, nice lauch, you smoked him bad.........but that wasn't even a fair race with the little 18" tires the YFZ had on it that did it no justice on that track, the Raptor always seems to get good traction on loose dirt and no traction equals no go!

18 inch Tires is all I run on my Raptor for drags; if you gear it correctly for 18's they are hard to beat. You also shed quite a few pounds of rotating mass off the drive axle by using 18's which is always good. We have tried stock 20 inch Raptor tires,20 inch Ohtsu mr501's, 22 inch pro wedges, and 18 inch knotched Turf Tamers all geared accordingly and the 18's performed the best in soft or hard pack drag track conditions for us. I am now running 18 inch MXR Holeshots with screws and they seem to be even better than the Tamers so far. Get some 18's; Gear accordingly with some 18's and I think you'll be suprised at the difference. Slim

No clue Gary LOL. That was its first runs on any track in that video.

Tomorrow we are doing a 300ft track, but Im not sure if they have the
full timeslip/speed setup. I know they have a Light-tree and I think they
have staging lights for no "redlighting" starts etc... Ill have to wait and see
when we show up.

That 63mph is just what the timeslip said , and all the white slips I collected that
day all came in at 61 - 64 mph on them. No way to tell if its accurate I guess.. but
my brothers Banshee was getting times at 58'ish ( Drag port, Noss Head, 160 compression etc)

Whats funny is - that launch was 2nd gear, and as the 4snows grow, it keeps pulling 2nd gear
incredibley far..like half the track. Only needed 3rd for the last 100ft. I can only imagine what 2 more
gears will pull in MPH... havent topped it out like that yet. All stock 2001 gearing.

Also, I agree the YFZ's there that day got the bad end of the stick, the slippy conditions favored the Raptor
for sure. In different circumstances, yes they do very good being so light, but I dont plan on
losing to any this year with the CR686 ! LOL As long as she holds together, it should be tough to beat.

Thanks all for the nice comments ! I got craploads of video of the drags I go to, but my DSL provider only
gives 5megs free storage, so Ill upload good ones to watch as I .mpg them , and post a few here and there.
