mine is good but my friends broke although he would rev it up and slam it into gear with his heal whenever he started it and is also a spazz and also let his 8 year old brother and his non experienced friends ride it (although his brother was good at it but couldnt hold on good)

As long the motor and pipe is plain stock, you wouldn't have any problem. Once you start upgrading to the motor like pipe and so on then you start to putting strain to the tranny.
That pretty much happen to every owner on Rappy once you start upgrading it.

The 02 model they upgrade the tranny by adding extra dog gear tooth and that pretty much take care of the tranny issue.

I believe the 1st gear on the 01 was a little taller than the 02+ trannys.

The 01 tranny will fail any time. Mine is dead stock 01, and bang!! Miss agear, hard land, whatever. Upgrade to 02. Sequential damage can be costly. Mine took out primary drive, primary driven, oil pump driven and a couple others. I reakon ratio changes are da bom.

What's the cost of the upgrade vs fixing it when it goes, and how long did it take to do or have done??
