Default filters with no airbox

Anyone running filters without an airbox? If so what filter? Is there a special adaptor for this application?

well if ur talking about a clamp on air filter directly out of the carb yes i have one, its a hazrd to have one but mine has treated me well and i love it, if ur gonna be on the trails in muddy conditons there not good for you but if ur gonna be doing drag racing and felid riding it would be perfect, just get a pre-filter and no dust should bother you

the cheapest way to go is to get a K&N filter with an outer wear, drill a hole through the top of it and your air box where they meet put a bolt through them with a nut on the back. then cut the sides, top and most of the bottom off leaving only what is required to keep the box bolted in place. this setup works like a champ

I have Sixsixt's adapter with a two hole single K & N and a water repelent outer wear. Works great and looks great, I have the blue one.

This is for my new show quad so cutting up plastic and "riggen" things up for this application just isn't an option but thanks anyway.

Where do I get this adaptor plate? I DO have to run K&N filters.
