Is the yfz 450 the fastest quad out if not what is?

Not if you count the Storm 650 or an old LT500R Quadzilla. But as far as the new models by the major manufacturers, yes.

 

As far as the fastest.....no.....but as in new quads it is probably the "quickest" the fastest, or so I think, would be the ds.....of course I'm talking stock....

 

the DS650 is the fastest production bike but it is not the quickest

does the yfz 450 have good aftermarket mods or should i go with a raptor 660r if im going to mod?

 

DS650 is the Fastest Top End quad still in Production but Raptor Banshee Predator are right on its A$$.
YFZ450 and 450r are the Quickest Production quads out there right now.
If your going to Mod the heck out of the Bike, Get the Raptor, Can Produce more HP and it will be alot faster both decked out to there max. But if you were going to mod for mod then the YFZ will probably be ahead. Be Close though

The fastest stock quad(top speed) is the DS650.

The quickest stock quad(the quickest to a top speed) is the YFZ450.

If your going to break into the engine and do some major mod's on a four stroke, the Raptor is the way to go.

 

YRO, if I was going to mod the he!! out of a quad, I wouldn't pick a rappy.....more along the lines of a shee....that responds the best to the mods
