What's sad about all this is that what they really need to do is take all the pipes by themselves, run them with the airbox lid on, with it modified, and with it totally removed all at the same time changing the jetting for optimized performance. That would actually be a useful test, but of course that takes way too much work. But, if they did that, I think the dirtwheels test would yield totally different results. In addition, doing the test this way would show trail riders what pipe would be best for them, duners for them, and then the ones that doa mix for the modified airbox. Oh well! I guess we have to spend the bucks and find it out for ourselves which actually producesthe most power and usuable power curve too.
