The only thing I have seen personally ( & this goes for the YZ 450F,s also ) is that there is a little black plug about the size of a dime on the front of the head that can & will fall out .( I carry 3 spares in my toolbox) When it does, motor oil will get all over the exhaust header & motor. This little plug is used to plug the hole where a manual compression release shaft would go if the motor used one. The YZ 426 & 250F 2002 & older used this setup....why Yamaha still has the hole now baffles me because the head is an all new design & doesn't employ a manual de-compression setup.

i havent' had that problem as of yet... however I did get something like a hose, or something else rubber that was picked up and got caught behind my front sprocket. It burned the seal right out, and I leaked oil all over the place. Luckily, the dealership still covered it under warantee, and fixed it for free.
