Hey guys, Well i think that i Finally found my banshee
I Have a chance to get a 98 yamaha banshee at a real good deal
the question i have is, is there anything i should look for, and how good are the banshees??

all banshees are the same since their first year other than plastic changes and 4 other little things

 

thats what i got you should check for good compression in each cylinders. banshees are great quads good choice.

 

see what it looks like, if its rouh, dinged up, etc. Make sure it has compression(check the kicker). See if has been rebuilt, how many hours are on it(if unknown, don't worry about it). But this is no 300ex, it has to be maintained. Proper maintanence is key, and if you do so, it'll treat you good in return.

 

how much are you wanting to spend on a shee, i'm selling mine for 5300. just put a new top end on it (friday)

 

Is the switch from a J arm to an A arm setup one of your "other little things?"

Seann, Where are you getting this banshee? How much and what is all done to it?

 

Iam getting it from a guy near my grandparents,
It is a 98 Shee, With Tammers in rear and bandits in front, and besides filters its stock
The guy wants my bike really bad, and has 2 banshees, a 98 witch he wants to trade me and a 2003
He wants my bike and 1000$ to boot for the 98 and its in amazing shape
So IAm just trying to find a partt time job right now, and Iam gonna do the deal
