THose stock front tires have a lot of rubber on them. How many hours does your Raptor have on it?

Gary,

My raptor has logged no less than 300 hours of actual riding time per year since I bought it. That comes out to well over 1500 hours of total riding time. The actual hours are many more than that. You and I have talked enough that you should know by now that I am one of the most active duners on this site and spend several weekends a year at Sahara.

Regardless of what you would like everyone here to believe, not all 01 trannies will fail. Many have, most as a result of neglect and maluse, others due to poor quality. (The most common problem is people who dump their clutch at full throttle thinking its the best way to get a lauch for a drag.) The problem is you only hear about those who have shattered, while those of us who still have them intact sit quietly and listen. The number of 01 trannies which are still intact far outnumber those which have detonated.

Any further questions?

Maybe the sand is easier on tires? I go through tires pretty quick here on the east coast. No offense bro!

Gary,

No offense taken. I guess you must be talking about my first pic on my page. That picture is nearly three years old. I don't even run stockers in the sand now. (notice the more recent pic further down the page) I don't even have that set of stock plastic anymore.

But as you can see my bike is way to clean to be ridden hard
