garyc......the klaws are awesome. The ITP holeshots are my tyre of choice for the track, but the klaws are more practical for me as they are still pretty good on the track and rock on the trail. Very good all-round tyres. The holeshots are not so great for the ruff stuff.

Still on '01 gears, and I've tried my hardest to blown them without luck. I even had a bud who beat the crap outta his '01, ran it without oil and bagged it for over an hour solid before it'd even blow up, without coolant too.... Insurance fraud, don't ask why... But I've heard of one in my area that did blow up a tranny, right as soon as he put a high comp wiseco piston and Hinson basket and clutch kit in it. He blew it up ice racing. I've tried my hardest on ice to be brutal to it, shifting with and without the clutch, I think she's here to stay for a little while longer. When it goes, I'll throw in '02 gears and my 686 kit I have waiting for it. If not by the end of the year, I'll just put in my 686 kit and see if it goes then.

I might be able to ride once a month, zero drag racing, and mine blew on a graded road doing 20mph. Way to many stories of trannies blowing apart to blame it on user error. Please stop with the blind loyalty to yamaha. Wanna mention the **** design of a throw out bearing??? L&A One Way must send a Christmas basket to yamaha every year for that gem they put in the raptor.
