Wolverine must be the one?

Ok. I have done the ATV quest and I think the wolverine is my match. Here is the biography;
87 LT230e; loved it had a blast got stuck a few times auto clutch was nice, needed $ carb, bearings -traded
2000 Polaris TB250 easy to ride boring -traded
2000 Polaris Scram 400 4x4 fun pretty fast but the whole wet belt thing and no gears for mud/hills -traded
2002 Kaw Mojave very fun little machine, not too slow clutch w/no elelctric start = tuff hills and mud -traded
2003 Eiger 400 manual- heavy duty- climbs, pulls, and churns but like riding a lawn tractor very bulky and a lot of drive train noise. So I am interested in any thoughts about settling down with a wolverine.
Will I be successful in attempting a long term relationship?

Well I am certainly hearing the right things. I looked at a couple this last week, can get '03 in blue only or for about $200 more '04 in black. Looks like black '04 is getting the vote. Is Yamaha the only one that "gets it"? This is what we want in ATV's sport ride and fully functional. How come it took me so long?

Never mind. Just checked out the Yamaha web site. Good looking quad.

ER04, I know there may be some compromises on the utility side but I do not use it for work and only hobby farm/logging, tractor does the work. $4897.00 with tax still needs a WARN 424 at $282.00 for 2x4. I am disappointed in my Eiger, I really like the quad but it is BIG and powerful but slow.

I have been pretty pleased with mine. I was looking for a larger machine that can work, though. The Wolverine does have a clean sporty look to it. I have had 2 different Yamahas, both banshees, and really liked them. I have a friend with a Big Bear(i think...I know it is a 400cc Yamaha 2x4), and it is really nice. Someone mentioned a Wolvy with 27's. Don't know how well a 350 could turn over 27's. Might have had mods, though. The Eiger doesn't need any bigger than 26's.

You will be happy with the wolverine, sounds like you want the same type of quad as I did. I have only had my 04 for about a month and love it. I have done a little of everything (mudding, trail riding, ramping, climbing hills, and even a little work pulling dead pine trees), and it performs great in everything it does. Be sure to look on ebay for the 424 Warn first, I got mine for about $220 shipped to my door, and boy does it make a difference
