Default raptor carb problem

I seem to be having a similar problem.. mine idles and runs fine at low rpm's but once you really throttle it, it spits and backfires and tries to die UNLESS I choke it slightly then runs a little better... Just about to look into it, but found that it is either something stuck in the carb (float bowl) or jetting... any ideas???

check ur main jet, and clean out ur fuel filter, from all those years of sitting, it might have sediments of junk in there from the gas.
