Hey i have an 02 raptor i have fixed everything but just recently the oil started leaking out of the oil case holder thingy in the front lol.. kinda by where the drain plug is but moreso on teh bottom where the oil comes out the nut for the drain pug is there and tight and its not coming out tehre its coming out of teh hose on the bottom i tightened the hex nuts on it and it still is leaking its not like coming out like crazy but its coming out and i was wondering what it would be is there a gasket there that would just need replacing or what?? im not sure i bought it used and it didnt have manual so i would ask for some assistance.. thanks

I am not what your talking about but have you looked on a parts finder to see the gasket?

Parts finder: select model and year

I bet its actually your drain plug and if you tighten it too tight it will LEAK

Yeah that case is made out of aluminum so its possible that the drain plug was overtightend causing a leak. Or since you bought it used the previous owner could have taken the tank off for some reason and ovretightend the oil lines going into the tank causing the leak..

its not coming from the plug i know that for sure its the hose out of the bottom is there a gasket??

Another question also. What would be the best sproket set up>> i am at stock right now. and another thing.. ive seen peoples raptors with small little filters on teh end of the hose that used to go to the lid of the airbox.. whats the advantage?? suggestions? where do you get theMM? thanks

^^^^ k dont believe it why the hell would i ask questions about the raptor if i didnt have one.?? i dont just have extra time on my hands like you.. likewise it was a question if you dont know the answer then shut the hell up i dont wanna hear what you think about me having a raptor or what not alrighty?
