Torque Help
#1
Tomorrow afternoon I will be putting my new swingamr back on, and I need to know what all the torque rating are. I need to know the # for the swingarm rod that goes through the frame, the bolts that mount the carrier to the swingarm, for where the wishbone connects to the frame, and where the shock bolts to the wishbone. If you know any of those, let me know. Thanks.

Someone on here gave me a link to the Raptor Repair manual a long time ago, and I have been trying to find something like that on the Banshee but I havent had any luck yet. Are there any of these still around on the net for free?

I just tightened them all down as close to as what they were before. I didnt want to call cupi's because I'm on the phone for at least 10 minutes every time I call there because the girl that works there doesnt know jack **** about atvs or dirtbikes so she has to run and ask one of the guys and then get the part number, I couldnt even imagine how long it would take for her to find torque ratings.....

Swingarm pivot = 68 ft.lb
Everything else (all linkage, shock mounts) = 23 ft.lb
This is per the Yamaha Raptor Service Manual. Hope this helps. My suggestion - buy one one Ebay for $10. I paid $50-$60 for mine at the dealership. What a ripoff!
