I just filled my Expedition and it cost 1.87 a gallon but the average price is 1.99. Do not know why the Tesoro station lowered the price but took advantage of it and it took 34 bucks and that was only about a half a tank when I started pumping, not looking forward to seeing what it is going to cost when it is on empty.
I read that we are looking at around 2.13 to 2.15 for the summer, looks like I find places closer to home to ride or go less.

I know the feeling....my Jeep has a 20 or 25 (can't remember) gallon tank...that's almost $50 to fill it...and it only lasts a week..usually less. I tend to ride my motorcycle to work when I can....at least that gets ~60 mpg.
I almost passed out the other day....I been restoring a 76 triumph spitfire...It has a small tank but also has dual carbs on it, along with some motor work. Took it for a drive in the country....tank did not last long at 65+ mph...It's gonna be a costly summer for me and my toys.

In England they have a low income tax. Therefore, their prices on goods are inflated. Its hard to compare prices, but they are fairly close. US tax on purchases is around 7% depending on the state and a 40% in come tax. It is the complete opposite in Britain.40% tax on goods 5% income.
