YFZ oil change help

Default YFZ oil change help

i want to change my engine oil but the bolts that hold the engine guard are on so tightly. how do i get these off?

Mine weren't on that tight. Are you talking about underneath the bike? Just make sure u find the right allen wrench and a tight fitting phillips head screwdriver!

Default YFZ oil change help

yeawh the bolts underneat the engine. i couldnt pry them loose with a standard allen wrench. what is a phillips head screwdriver?

Default YFZ oil change help

Make sure your allen wrench fits perfect before u start prying away. You can grab a nut wrench and put the allen wrench through the round end of the nut wrench and use it for leverage.

for your tool box get the allen head sockets 3/8 drive that fit your rachet you will use them a lot. They come in a set of 7 or 8 metric or standard just don't over tighten the blots its well worth the expence then to fiddle with a standard allen wrench.

Those arent allen bolts they are Torx. Get the right tools and try again ...

Make sure you going the right way. If your drunk make sure you remember to refill the oil after you drain and change the filter. I hear running them without oil is bad?? Who woulda thought. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
