just an update on the Emmons mud bog race... now High Lifter will be donating a 3000 lb Superwinch winch, which will be given away, in a drawing... you must be a registered racer in any of the 4 X 4 classes to be elidgeable for the drwaing on the winch... there is still a guarentee of a $500.00 1st place prize in the open class, & 1st thru 3rd place trophies the all the other classes... there is a class for most every quad... hope to see you there...

here is the website for rules dates & other entertainment....

newbeatle,

These guys should hire you as their spokes person.

I have been reading your posts about this upcoming mudding competiton and it sounds like it would be alot of fun watching and I have read a couple of articles and the photos are awesome. I do not think we have anything along those lines up here, other then when we go hunting and have to cross the long bogs but we do not get paid to do it, we just have to figure how to get back across pulling a moose the next time.

They sure do sound like fun.

AlaskaBoy.

Thank's ALASKA... If I do well at the mud bog, & take 1st, I'd gladly trade my trophy & the $500.00 cash, to hunt up where you live... there is alot of work involved in doing a mud race, but it is realitively easy to do... if you have enough friends... let me know if I can do anything to help you organize ...

Well the 3000 lb winch package arived from High Lifter, the $500.00 prize money for the open class is gaurenteed, the trophies are done & ready... the mud pit will be dug tonight, are you coming for a chance to win the winch ( the chance to win the winch is limited to 4 X 4 competitors only ), or a shot at the winner take all $500.00 1st prize in the large bore open class, or are you coming for one of the sweet 1st thru 3rd place trophies available in every class, from the smallest 2 wheel drive class, to the big nasty open class, or are you just coming to witness the roaring power of big bore kits, & nitrous burning ATV's compete???

are you coming ????

DUKE... that is a good question... they start with the pit emty, then add more mud & water as they work up the classes... most 2 wd quads run in only a few inches of slippery mud... they actually have as mant 2 wd quads, as there are 4 wd quads... if you click on the pics, on the borderfest web site, you'll see a pic of a Warrior, lining up, early in the day...
