Some f@&king bastard stole my truck last night from right in front of my house!! Loaded it up on a flatbed and I never even heard it. Sheriff said the exact same type was taken from around the corner Sat. night. 2001 GMC 2500HD Diesel...GONE!!!! Nothing like getting your $40k truck taken. Have fun at the races, maybe next year for me...........

 

That $ucks to hear. Hope they find the guy and you get your truck back. Let us know how it turns out.

It won't purchase him a new truck, only the value on the date of loss minus deductible unless he has replacement value in his policy.

 

the insurance will pay to "replace" the truck.........
and he didn't have a new truck anywayz.........
if you know what you are doing you could prolly almost get a new truck out of them...

 

It's fully insured but I don't have "gap" insurance on it. My Yukon does but I never realized I didn't have it on my truck. They say they will give me "fair market value" for it. Whatever the hell that will be. My dog stays inside at night and he never made a noise. I was awake untill about 2 a.m. playing poker and was out front around 1:30 with the dog and my truck was there. So most likely it was between 2 and 5 when my neighbor went to work and he said he doesn't remember seeing it. Oh well, I guess I just have to wait and see what happens. The worst part is I just spent $10k on a block wall this weekend!! All I know is I don't want it back if it's stripped or all trashed. If I'm lucky maybe the new 4x4 Diesel I want may be here sooner than I expected.
