I'm stumped... What the heck is a torque stuffer?

I'd like to know too. I just did a monster.com search and almost everything that came up had a Wolverine in the subject...

Default Torque Stuffer

Torque stuffer is a small aluminum venturi like device that fits in your head pipe, just outside of the exhaust port on the head. It slightly decrease the inside diameter of your head pipe, for the purpose of creating a little backpressure, which in turn creates a small amount of low end torque. These can be bought on ebay fairly cheap. Not recommended for ported or cammed motors.

Aight thanx. Yeah I'm thinking about getting the Alba powere package for my 2004 Warrior and it has a torque stuffer so I wanted to know what it was.
