banshee help

Default banshee help

alrite i have a few questions becuase ima make a trip to mexicofor a month with some friends(cant wait)
1. will i be running lean im taking a stock banshee (if yes anyone know were i can learn how to jet)
2. i am currently running motorex semi-synthetic premix and want to change but to wat kind.
3.how much do u think i should buy(they sell really cheap stuff over there )


in mexico a quad is my car i ride it everywere. so i dont know how much oil to buy

as far as running lean yoou need to find out the elevation and then the manual will actually be able to help you out, not sure what mods you have done, second in my opinion Motul is the best oil to run and you definitely need to start running a synthetic in there. depends on the mixture you run and how much you are going to riding but 50:1 will work with the synthetic. you can get around 15 galons of fuel out of a liter at 50:1 maybe a little more

i am still a little new to the two strokes but for stock you should be ok on jetting.as for oil i have heard yamalube type R semi synthetic is good. thats what i always use. i also heard klots is very good as well. but not sure where to find it so i can start using it

hey foust you are going to be much better off in the long run if you start using synthetic and not semi, I strongly recommend using MOTUL, you can find it anywhere that deals with parts unlimited or go to their site and find a dealer. it will help extend the life of your engine. it does cost about $14-15 but if you have the funds I recommend you buy it by the case because I talked them down to about $9 a liter for a case and you cant beat that.
