Default banshee carb jetting

i was looking for some help trying to buy the right jets for a 98 banshee with stock carbs. with a 60 over bore cylinders. there are 280 mains and i think 25 pilots. it seems to be lagging top and bottom. i pulled the plugs out and notice it was burning rich. the plugs were driping wet. just trying to avoid doing the famous buy three up and three down and compare and contrast. thanks don

Keep the main as you have them...try a 30 pilot...needle on the 3rd clip....about 1 2/3 -2 turns on the air screw. Keep the airbox lid on. Remove just the snorkle.

I did not notice if you have pipes...the above jetting guidline is for a piped quad.

Its impossible to tell if you are rich or lein without knowing your altitude, air temp., air screw setting, needle clip position and all the other variables. if your plugs are wet then you are obviously rich but you dont know where the richness is comming from It could be your main, needle clip, or pilot position. a lein condition in one area could be masked by a rich condition in another...
