Quiet Pipe for Raptor

Quiet Pipe for Raptor
By the end of the day, I may have an 02 Raptor sitting in my garage.
My brother is trading for it. It has an Alba Full Pipe on it...which is a problem.
It is so loud that we would get the cops called in about 2 seconds.
Is there any cheap pipe out there that makes it quiet that isn't stock?
Or does Alba make a quiet core insert for the pipe?

Yeah, but Yosh cost alot so I'm not really wanting to go there.
It has no end cap...it has all the discs, no endcap, or spark arrestor...and that's the way the guy who had the raptor before him bought it.

You can call them and they will price you a Spark Arrestor or Open End Cap. The open end cap is the loudest set up but gives you the most gains. The spark arrestor will quiet down the pipe. You can buy them from Alba for that pipe.

Quiet Pipe for Raptor
According to Dirt Wheels a stock raptor is 92db, and the Alba pipe is 102db. The aftermarket pipe that is the quietest is the Yoshimura Tec-SA at 100db and still creates 46hp, best thing though is its 3 lbs lighter than the Alba.

I really don't care about performance I am just trying to get it quiet so he and I can actually ride it around my yard without having the cops get called on me.
If I have buy a stock pipe and put it on, I will. But this thing cannot stay this loud.

Quiet Pipe for Raptor
FMF Q series or maybe even MBRP would be good ones to pick from. Last I knew, MBRP did not have a USFS approved spark arrestor. They offer one, but it has not been approved yet?
At the District 23 AMA Hare Scrambles, they are going to limit sound to 96 db's very soon. Wonder what all them HMF and Big Gun guys are going to do when they enforce the rules?
