Default STUPID YFZ OIL PLUG THINGY!!!!!

first race of the year... i get 2 good laps in and the f'ing plug falls out ruining the rest of my day... i was pissed...

where can i get an aftermarket aluminum one?

same thing happened on my raptor, I feel for you that totally sucks. I would guess go to the dealer and just get a stock plug. I just pulled the one off my dirt bike for now, so havent looked for a replacement yet. lol... i was pissed... the helmet went flying cause i didnt now how long it had been like that and thought too much oil drained out.. but it was ok...

and a stock one can fall back out again... i heard the aluminum ones dont come out at all.

you got lucky, i fried my head and cam. but the good side is it gave me an excuse to go on and build a 686, which is in the works now. good luck to you on the drain plug!

well i just ordered one from the Thumpertalk store.... it ran me about 30$ shipped which is alot i think... but i gotta have it... the stock one will keep falling out... so i aint gonna mess around and end up dealing with paying all the money to race... then not racing.
now i just hope its here by the weekend.

Armadillo makes them in polished aluminum, the dipstick and the plug for about 30 bucks. They have them on ebay.

Where is that plug thing? I want to change mine out before it does it on its own.

it on the clutch side of the motor up on the head... its about the size of a dime... cant miss it really...
