I think that the raptor has the most power characteristics and has the most torque out of all the quads.

Thanks for the links. So basically torque is torque and hp is just a fictitious derivative. What really matters is at what rpm you produce maximum torque and how long of a range you can sustain it. The higher the RPM that you produce your torque the more speed you can get since you can use gearing to your benefit (assuming the engine can stay together at the RPM range). The greater the range of the torque the more pulling distance you have for a given gear thus it would be easier to ride.

Interesting reading.

I am glad that someone understands. The sad thing is that you are probably the only person that read the links I posted.

It is so funny how these threads go.

Poster C: Z is the best

I have begun looking at each posters signature and most of the time you could simply look at what they ride to determine what they are going to list as the best.

Look at my signature and fill in the blank

_______ is the best quad ever!!!

Seriously I do not know, I simply liked the Raptor and that’s what I purchased. For me I wanted a four stroke with reverse, electric start, and clutch, I also wanted a Yamaha. So you tell me between the Warrior and Raptor in 2001 which would you have chosen given a key to each.

I agree with you. I was just joking earlier. Each quad has specific attributes that make it good for a certain kind of rider and a certain kind of riding. Each person has a different feel for what they want in a quad and what suites them. Buy what feels good to you and what suites you and all the rest doesn't really matter.
