I think that the raptor has the most power characteristics and has the most torque out of all the quads.

hay bbertham i totally agree with you on the dyno's. i cant remember if i typed that the crank horspower dyno is done when the engine is taken out and littleraly hooked up to a life suport system. typing fast. anywho ya your right about the software thing but thats funny a never ran across that on my research. i know that when testing the engines theres a trick you can do by moving the air intake sensor higher or lower above the motor that can fluctuate the power readings do to the air temps that are going into the program software from engine heat.

ok enough lying to yourselves, everyone knows the badger 50 is the fastest, torquiest, best handling quad ever built, the shee and raptor cant hold a candle to the ALL MIGHTY BADGER 50!

Roostthrower you have know f****n clue what you are talking about. And why does how much your bolts are tightend to know how much torque it has.
And does anybody hear of a Plama Ignition Booster and does it help mph and hp?

You don't really know what your talking about! Say when you posted buying reeds and a boost bottle would be a great upgrade for a Raptor, then someone tells you to stop being a a$$ because they thought you were being sarcastic, but you really don't know what you are saying. So please stop flaming at people that know more than you and didn't learn the info yesterday. PLEASE STOP calling them @$$holes, its annoying.

A raptor may pull you around no problem, that is not what is being argued. The dimensions of the quad are, its SMALL.
I didn't say the V-Force has equal to or more aftermarket parts. I said you can do as much mods to it as the raptor. The only reason the raptor has many more mods is because your counting all the cams, big bores kits, etc from EVERY company. So the raptor may have 10,000 aftermarket parts available, so what? You only need to concern yourself with the parts that make the best HP or the best bang for your buck. A tricked out V-Force will cost about $3000 in parts and labour. It will then go 85 mph and still be trailable and putt around and everything else, the beauty of an automatic. The magic part is machining the sheaves so that the entire sheave is utilized and a sharper angle. I'm not 100% sure on the extact machining part so I'm going on memory here.
With the raptor you can do the same thing but you need to run a smaller sprocket in the rear, this will change your gear ratio. You sacrifice trailablilty and driving in the yard becomes a pain in the ***. The V-Force has no issues with that.
Once people learn how the automatic works and what can be done with it with some creativity you soon learn its way better than gears for alot of things. But you also need some big HP, which the Twin can put out, big time.
Its not hard to make 75-80 hp on a big bore v-force, slap on NOS and your up to 95-100 hp. Poor raptor is eating dust and maybe even a busted tranny, lol.
Stock you can get about 73 mph out of her, with the stock spring it takes a while to get there. Throw in a $20 spring and its there in no time.
Its fun being the only Kawasaki owner sticking up for the V, you get to educate the ignorate people. Anyways, enough typing. Time to go riding, I may even have some video for you people next week of me playing in the sand and hills. But I doubt anyone would want to see a slow, heavy v-force.
One more thing, a V-Force took the win at the Halifx drags last week, beat all the raptors and YFZs, lol.
Its good to own a V.

I can hit 73 mph, I'm not sure about your bud. How long are you running them? The V may take a little bit longer than the raptor to get to 70+ mph. If your dragging in 300 then I don't expect to hit 70 mph. I'm talking open paved road, throttle wide open till she stops pulling, thats my top speed. If you want, tomorrow I can pace out 300 feet and use my GPS and see what I can get in 300 feet or what ever distance you want.
Sorry for being an a$$hole, I must be on crack again, lol.
The raptor uses gears in the tranny to power a sprocket that connects to chain than drives the rear sprocket attached to the axle. The V-Force uses two clutches, the primary is run off the motor, the secondary is run off the tranny. The tranny is gears. A belt is used between the two clutches. Then the tranny drives a shaft drive to the rear differential which turns the axle. I have had my V-Force in alot of water, only had 2 problems with the belt getting wet and that was because I hit the water to fast and blasted it down the intake for the CVT. Other than that I have never had a problem with my belt, works very well.
There was a 686 Raptor, a 470 built YFZ and a bunch of fast banshees. I wasn't there, just repeating what I read. The guy with this v-force is pushing about 78-80 hp with a 785 cc big bore kit. On pump gas. There was a 400 scrambler there, it was a little faster but he red lighted and didn't finish so the V-Force won.
Now imagine throwing NOS, running the quad on alcohol and then slap on a turbo. Hmmm....I would guess around 130-140 hp. That would be cool on an auto quad. Have you ever drove a snowmobile? They pump out 140-160 HP and they are an automatic, they get about 120 mph or more and smoke just about anything on wheels. All thanks to the auto, big clutches and big HP. Pin it and hang on for dear life.
Strange how the two fastest quads at the drags were both automatics.
I like chatting back and forth like this, even though it may only be adding fuel to the fire instead of ignoring you and letting this go. I don't have much else to do, no one is riding today so its boring out on the hills by myself. Even the dirt bike guys said they would like to see an auto 450 4-stroke quad, that would totally own.
