Default My big nutz are loose

I've discovered that my 50mm axle nutz are loose on my Raptor. I really don't want to buy that Motion Pro tool for $30 just to tighten them. Anyone have any cheap alternative ways to tighten my nutz?

Find yourself some big pipe wrenches! Set them up right and they won't mark the lock nuts too bad, have a buddy stand on the rear brake lever real hard while you tighten it up so hard that it pretty much lifts the machine and your buddy off the ground... I used red loctite on the threads to keep it on too, mine came loose as well stock, and with the Durablue axle until I did this....

I bought 2 big crescent wrenches for like $12 a peice, you have to torque the nuts them against each each other to keep them tight, which is why 2 wrenches help. I also use a little locktite.

Thanks for the replies, I Looked everywhere for something openended to tighten those bastards. Autozone, Sears, Yamaha shop. No one had anything close to that size that I could take home. Those pipe wrenches are like 30 bones a piece. 2 cresents for 12 bones each will do but where did you get them?

Go by a local machine shop and ask them to cut out a wrench out of some 3/8 plate that shouldnt cost much .
Dosent need to be pretty as long as it works .
Also try a tractor shop most tractors are now metric Good luck
