hey i just put in the ALBA cam kit for my 2000 yamaha warrior it came with valve springs and i was wondering if i had to agjust the part of the rocker arm that comes down ontop of the valve. rite now there is about 1/4 inch of space between the end of the rocker arm and the top of the valve?

You need to adjust the valves. I don't have my book here right now but it is probably .010 on the intake valve and .012 on the exhaust. Be sure to adjust them at zero lift too.

 

I checked my book and it is .006-.010 on the intake and .012-.016 on the exhaust. I wasn't far off. Hope this helps.

 

I had to crank the valve adjusters way down on mine too. A lil side note though, a torque stuffer with a .450 cam wont work good. The .450 kills the bottom end, and the torque stuffer kills the top end so your left with weakness all over.

Help I need timing spec for 88 warrior

 

For red bull, dont forget to degree that cam where the sheet says. It will run good at stock setting but youll be missing out on some extra torque and hp.

 

i need some positive info on the alba kit so i can get it and could i do the install my self with a valve compresor or what else do i need if this is posible
