i am 6'0" 250lbs rider and have been riding for quite sometime now. ive got a warrior and it isnt enough anymore for me. i want to stick with yamaha or honda and need to know what would be the best ride for me. i do mainly trail riding and sand riding. not slow riding either, i like to haul a$$ and rip **** up. i do want to stick with a 4-stroke though, ive heard bad things about bigger riders on the 450s, what do you guys know or think????? thanks

 

maybe a 450 ? Raptors are good in trails, and the 450's sure do haul a$$ [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

IMHO a Raptor for yamaha or a DS. Those are the 2 bikes I would go to if I was your size.

 

I'm about the same size but a couple inches taller, go with the raptor... I bottom out the 450 like it's nobodys business. Its just not that comfortable for someone my size

 

not doubting you or being a smarta$$ but isn't the yfz a lil more bottoming resistant?

Go with the Raprto 660.......

 

For all around riding I would recommend the Raptor. The YFZ is a better bike if you plan to cross country or MX ride but the ergonomics will probably seem rather uncomfortable to you on a long ride through general terrain or sand. I think you would find the raptor to be an easy transistion from your warrior and you won't be dissapointed with its performance.
