You can get the airbox out with a little bending and not have to take the rear plastic off. Then once you have it out cut the points off the airbox mounts so it will go back in easier.

other than that its pretty straightforward. use the stencil to drill your holes

I didnt cut the points off, then it wouldnt stay very stable. Look at my pics.

Also, I aligned the inner air holes and made my drill holes from that. So when it was all put together I had an even air flow.

You won't be too lean if all you do is change the air filter. If you put on a new pipe you'll be a little lean and if you remove or alter the air box lid you will be very lean.

Dude you dont even have the back of the airbox on it, no wonder you dont need to cut the tips of the mounts off. Its also alot easier line it up to mark and drill from the back with the back half of the airbox cut off, he has to stencil the outside unless he is doing the same.

They must be very short if they arent long enough? I dont think they are any longer than 1/2". The bolts go in from the front and screw into the adaptor

They make it that far but it would be nice if they were long enought to get a little nut to go on the end. Also anyone have a recommendation on filter oil?
