How are you going to vote on a quad that no one has had a chance to ride yet? The poll had the Raptor in the lead as best ATV sport quad, how??
Just going by reviews you all vote that this is the best sport quad, dont get me wrong I am going to get me one but I voted for the Banshee since it is out and ppl are riding them.

Hmmmm, I dont see any1 riding a Raptor so therefore how can you vote on it to be the best Sport Quad?

Yeah, that's kind of silly to list a quad that nobody owns yet. Make up a poll just to have something there I guess.

Just goes to show how the power of advertising will have the weak minded convinced of anything.Go ahead and flame me if you want but you cant deny the truth.I hope this quad is everything its cracked up to be or there will be some seriously upset kids out there, which I think ther will be o few of.there are a lot of things I like about this quad and some I am sceptical of as well.Time will tell as well as real riders input, and long term tests, not these half as**d,restricted, non specific tests that the mags kick out.Good treat for the readers and sales but not fulfilling or conclusive.

Exactly, I feel that this will be an awsome quad but there may be some FYP bugs in it, even though I am going to get me one but am waiting for a couple of months to see some rider reviews.

I gauruntee that the first couple of posts on the rider reviews will be "THIS QUAD ROCKS!", bla bla this bla bal that, then we may see some of the truth come out with a few minor problems maybe.

Just my input.

Some people buy, and based there opinions on marketing and brand loyalty. Face it Yamaha has had the Fastest Bike for a long time, sure it has flaws but has been the benchmark for serval bikes bikes to come even the 400EX and Raptor designs were influenced by the Banshee, 400EX you say? yes, why else would it be a 400 fourstroke and not a 300 or 350, because that is the only way Honda felt they could compete and still be politically correct, especially since they know everyone wants the 250R back. I voted for the raptor because it has what I've always felt a sport bike should have , Reverse. not all of us race and even if we do reverse is still nice!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Yamaha!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I myself have a Raptor on order. I agree with everyone on teh topic of how can ANYONE judge this bike! That would include those out there bashing it too! I mean how many people were lined up for a 400ex when they came out?? Hmmm?? Answer prolly just as many. I mean the quad sounds pretty decent as of now from the reviews. Why cant everyone just leave it at that? About the only legitimate post on the Raptors should be on arrival dates or test results am I not right? Or unless someone that has actually ridden one is out there......Which im sure they would be sworn to secrecy anyways. Just my opinion. I mean the only thing I can say for SURE is that it looks pretty cool.

HEHE, the bike does look phat!
Thanks for replying to my topic, I am definatly gettin one just later on this year when we get some rider reviews.
Again I say, THE BIKE LOOKS PHAT!
I told most of my friends about this topic and they all tell me to get rid of the blaster and get a raptor, hehe they state "Im tired of ya havin to get off pick it up and turn it around" lol. It is a pain to have to pick it up and turn it around on a narrow trail, other wise I would just kick the rear end around, the reverse it goin to be very nice.

You right. They should include the 2009 model 1000cc 4 cylinder Raptor also before it comes out.
