Default what to do next?

installed the pro design airbox setup w/kn filter and ordered a yoshi complete pipe. do I need to order a jet kit? are all jetkits the same? if so...can i install jet kit myself? should I change out the plug? what plug is recommended? NGK any good?

I am sorry for all the questions, but I am brand new to this sport and am trying to upgrade pretty much all at once. thank you for steering me on the right track. if anyone cares to elaborate a bit on these upgrades, I will hook you up with my sister....j/k.... thanx

First of all, the Yoshi is a great start if you just got into the sport. With only a filter now, with an airbox lid on, you will be ok. It will be a little lean, but nothing to start pulling the bike apart for. When you put the pipe on though, you will definetly need to get some jets in there. Being that you are new to the sport, you will really need to get the jet kit. It is only jets, needles, and springs, but for a newcomer, it will be an assortment of all and you will need it to tinker to get it where you want it. With this forum, it is not hard to install the kit. There are many posts thqat will run you through the entire process with pics. I was a little leery about installing my first one, but after you do it once, you can do it in your sleep. After you get to know things a little better, you will learn what aftermarket parts will need what jets and will be able to order only the jets and needles for the bike you want, and save money. The plug is fine, most people run NGK. You don't get anything out of an aftermarket plug. You may want to get another one for when you jet, but just stick with the NGK..... Oh, how old is your sister and what does she look like???????????

If you get a jet kit, get the GYTR, much better than the dynojet IMO.
