Bent Rear Axl - 01' Kodiak 400
G'day All. I recently purchased a second hand 2001 Kodiak 400 from a friend. The past two weeks i went away with some friends for an ATV trip in the woods. I noticed that my back wheel is wobbly a bit. After some investigation it is the actual axl bar/shaft that is a bit 'off'. it's only off a tiny bit, and can only really notice it when i drive on flat surface. My question(s) are,
1.) Can i just leave this? will it cause more damage?
2.) What kind of cost would i be looking at to repair?
3.) can the existing bar be fixed or does it need to be replaced?
Thanks in advance

th only damage this will cause is that itll prematurely wear ure rears tire(s).rear axle replacement will cost in upwards of 200 smackers,so if it aint too bad i dunno if its necessary to replace it,it may also affect handling, but only th slightest bit if as u sed,its only a little bend.my younger brother ran his arctic cat into a tree earlier this week, but it only bent th a arm so th tire tilts in a bit on the front left side, its still dirveable, but the tire wear is gonna be an issue.it just depends on if u wanna spend ure money replacing tires,or replacing th axle.hope this helps.

I also bent axle of my kodiak a year ago and when i went into the dealer about it they said that it wasnt a problem and that they could straighten it for me they also said that most dealers or shops could have also done it so i would ask around if i were you. And i have had no other problems after that and it seems really strong still, and mine was bent good, and it only cost me 25 bucks.
