Default timberwolf stator

Hello,

Looks like more problems on my timberwolf. I'm not getting any spark. Pulled manual and checked switches, etc. Everything good but stator ohm values show it is open. It is a 1996 and had one changed in 1998. Costs about $275 plus labor.

I'm going to change this one out myself. Does anyone know of a company that sells aftermarket stator assemblies or rebuilds them?

Thanks,

Tom

Ricky stator does. Don't know if he will work on it, or just rewind it? I wouldn't mind getting a high output stator rewound by him for my T-wolf...

Thanks for the reply on Ricky stators. I have one on order for $39 plus ship.

The yam dealer wanted $276 plus tax. Had to buy OVERPRICED complete assembly.

Thanks!

Man that's cheap! Is that a high output wound one, or the regular? If that's the high output, I'll order one up now, that's a killer price!
