thx guys for the reassurance......ill post some pics when i get my new mudlites with black c-series mounted on argueably the best lookin wolverine on the planet (in my opinion, at least..lol)

 

I currently have 25" mudlites on my 04 wolverine and this weekend I traded my buddy tires he has 26" 589's and it killed the power it would barely spin them in deep mud in 2wd and in 4wd forget it we raced before and after the tire change and there was a huge diff in acceleration just my .02

 

i still think that mine willl do fine w/25" 589s.....i guess there's only one way to find out...there has been several people tell me that it'll do fine with the 25" 589s since it performs well w/ the 25" vamps already on there...the vamps actually weigh .5 lb. more than the 589s do.....you had problems with the 26" 589s, ive found that 1 inch seems to be alot when it comes to mud tires

 

cps.....do you have any perfomance mods?

If you want to bump up the tire size/weight on the wolvy you have to put some performance mods on there. its pretty much a must anyways because its a much bigger kick in the pants to ride after you pipe and intake it. I cant wait to finish my high compression piston, white brothers cam and new valve springs on it it should definatly move along then. how are the mudlights weight compared to Dirt Devils? i need new tires all the way around on the stock rims cause i dont have money for new rims and i dont want to pay more than 55 a tire

 

IF you like to ride in mud alot go with the 589's they are great mud tires and are as aggressive as your vamps. If your worried about losing power then you should still go with the 589's they are lighter than the vamps. Mud lites are good performance tires and are low on budget, but I have heard that the tread on them wears fairly fast.

thanks everyone for the opinions............the 589/black c-series bigfoot kit is on the way from mud-throwers.com, should arrive sat.....i know that i said earlier that i was going with the mudlites, but the guy who help me jet my carb assured me that i could spin 'em just as good as the vamps on there now...he offered to by the 589s off of me if i didnt like 'em.....im sure i will though..
