Default which air filter is the best?

i have a raptor 350, and i was wondering which air filter is the most effective relative to how much it costs. i looked at the gyt-r filter, but its like $100 with that adaptor thing. also, has anyone used the scott's reusable oil filter and if so, is it worth it?

Most air filters with adaptor plates are high. But K&N will flow the most air...and a outerwear is your best friend when you run one.

The uni filters, and foam filters like the uni are the best at keeping dirt out of your engine.

I always use K&N with an outerwear, you can't go wrong with it! If I couldn't use that then I'd get a UNI foam.

Uni Foam here, but haven't had it on very long. Love the snap now though .. once I get the jetting done properly I'll be a happy camper on my Warrior.

how much is the k/n filter and the outerwear and would it fit the raptor 350? also, what are the advantages of upgrading the air filter? and where can i learn about carbs and re-jetting and whatever (are there any websites that explain stuff like that)?

Amsoil has just come out their new Power Sports Air Filters. Advanced 2-stage foam technology provides superior effeciency, capacity and air flow. I put one on my Warrior and noticed a slight difference in power. I've got to have a foam filter because where I ride there's dust flying everywhere so I believe it's a lot better protection for the engine. When they get dirty just clean them up, re-oil, and go! Check these filters out at:

They make paper elements, had one of those on a Polaris. K&N filters are not foam, but they are cleanable and reusable.
